Weyland-Yutani WTC All-N-1 Pack DIY Fix Guide

Hi everybody!

I have been notified that some of the ruins in the WTC All-N-1 Pack's are not up to our standards and come apart during play.

I have prepared this DIY guide in order to help you out with that. There are a few simple solutions you can apply to your terrain that will both keep its structure solid during play and will allow you to seperate the pieces for easy storage.

NOTE: I DO NOT RECOMMEND GLUEING THE PIECES TOGETHER! WTC MAPS REQUIRE BOTH L SHAPED AND REVERSE-L SHAPED RUINS. IF YOU GLUE THEM TOGETHER YOU CAN NOT FIELD ALL THE WTC MAPS.

Solution 1: Tack (Quick - Temporary)

This method requires small amounts of tack to be applied in critical positions pictured below.

When applied correctly the tack would not be visible and the structure would be solid during play.

A close up can be seen here,

That way you will have durable terrain that won't come apart unless you want to, which means whenever you wish you can disassemble it.

Here is a video of a three storey ruin being thrown down the stairs as a test although we do not recommend throwing down your terrain down the stairs.

Solution 2: Magnetising (Slow -Permanent)

This would require four to twelve magnets per ruin, depending on how much you want to strengthen the structure.

You would need to place the magnets on the circled areas pictured below. Same level as the floors and at the edges of the ruin.

By placing the magnets around the edges your ruin will be both safe to play but still decoupleable when you want to pack it up.

Here is a video of the terrain being tested for slaps and bumps it can suffer during a game.
